Conversations Book Club and TRU Publishing are pleased to announce that Hotep, President and Founder of HustleUniversity.Org has partnered with the Hiphop and Books Project in its efforts to unite music lovers in a campaign to encourage staying in school and reading.

The Hiphop & Books Project consists of a series of events with hip-hop performances, workshops, panels and book give-a-ways for the whole family. The project is slated for a 25-state tour across the United States which began with a kick-off event in Mississippi on Saturday, April 26, 2008. The events will entertain lovers of Hip-Hop as well as promote the cause of reading across the country.

Newfound partner Hotep is a Hip-Hop media mogul from Atlanta, GA with deep-rooted ties to the city’s independent Music, Film and Literary industries. Hotep is best known as the author who penned the urban entrepreneur's classic book, The Hustler's 10 Commandments and the revolutionary working entrepreneur's manifesto entitled, Hustle While You Work. From these works, he started his own school called Hustle University.

The Hiphop & Books Project will feature rappers Trill, G-Money & Lil' Half Ounce; as well as national recording artists C-Murder and Jackie-O both who recently released new books. Together, Cyrus A. Webb and new partner Hotep form a powerful alliance that will further their common goals of entertaining, empowering and educating those around them.
